Our training programs are detailed to fit the needs of all athletes no matter the age, level, or sport. Our focus is to develop the athlete's natural sense of security. By doing so, we are able to teach the athlete the proper way to move through space to avoid non-contact injury and perform at their highest level.
Our team of professionals believes that all athletes have been given the necessary gifts to excel, and it is our responsibility to nurture these gifts both physically and mentally so that our athletes find success in their sport(s).

GIVE MAX EFFORT
The Receiver Core was established with one purpose in mind; to help wide receivers reach their athletic goals while teaching them values that stick with them a lifetime. Through our observation, we realized that our multi-sport athletes were finding success in all of their sports while keeping the same movement patterns we developed. As a result, we decided to offer our services to athletes of all sports. Our team of professional coaches understands that we are blessed to have the role we play in our athlete's development. We honor working norms while treating each athlete as 1 of 1.
Robert Byrd is the founder of TRC. He has worked with student-athletes all of his professional careers. Robert worked in education for over 7 years teaching secondary and elementary mathematics, personal development, strategies for success, and personal finance. His love for the development of our youth has always been an intricate part of his life.
Coach Byrd has been involved in almost every aspect of sports. He is a multi-sport athlete, a former project manager in sports facilities, and has coached baseball, basketball, and football. Through personal playing/coaching experience, he knows what it is like to be on the battlefield and to properly prepare for success on and off the playing fields. Coach Byrd headed the top 7 on 7 programs in the Metropolitan area "Speed Kills" and is thankful that at least 93% of our athletes earned a college scholarship.
Robert chose to play football in college and enjoyed an illustrious career. His final year was cut short due to an injury. He still earned a tryout at the Baltimore Ravens facilities for multiple NFL Teams. Although Robert did not make it on an NFL roster, the experience and connections he gained proved to be worth the journey of battling back from that injury to prepare for his tryout. Robert is dedicated to giving back to the community by sharing his knowledge and understanding of life and sports movement to help foster our youth.
